Alright, folks, gather ’round, gather ’round! Today, I’m gonna share my little adventure of trying to snag a parrot in Adopt Me. You know, that virtual pet everyone’s been going nuts about? Yeah, that one. I’ve seen some crazy numbers – like, 5551 people have it as their dream pet. Insane, right?

So, I jumped into the game, ready to wheel and deal. First thing I did was check out the Jungle Egg. That’s where these parrots supposedly hatched back in the day, on August 31, 2019, to be exact. But guess what? They’re not there anymore. Gotta love limited-time stuff, huh?
Next, I started browsing through the trade offers. Man, oh man, the competition is fierce. I saw over 2000 offers for a regular parrot. Some people were offering up their Mega Neon Diamond Butterfly for a Mega Neon Parrot. I didn’t even know those existed! I’m out here with my basic pets, feeling like a total noob.
I spent hours, and I mean hours, trying to find someone willing to trade. I offered everything but the kitchen sink. My best pets, rare items, you name it. I even tried sweet-talking some players, but no luck. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack, except the needle is a colorful, talking bird.
And then there’s the Shadow Dragon. Apparently, it’s the holy grail of Adopt Me pets. Everyone wants it. I saw a few people offering parrots for it, but let’s be real, who’s gonna trade a Shadow Dragon for a parrot? Not me, that’s for sure.
At one point, I thought I struck gold. I met a player who had a parrot. We started negotiating, and I was ready to give away my entire inventory. But then, at the last minute, they backed out. Said they changed their mind. Talk about a heartbreaker!
- First attempt: Checked the Jungle Egg. No parrots.
- Second attempt: Browsed trade offers. Too much competition.
- Third attempt: Tried to trade my best stuff. No bites.
- Fourth attempt: Almost got a parrot, but the deal fell through.
After all that, I still don’t have a parrot. But you know what? I’m not giving up. I’ll keep trying, keep hustling. Maybe one day, I’ll finally get my hands on that coveted bird. Until then, I’ll just keep dreaming of parrots.
The Takeaway
If you’re trying to get a parrot in Adopt Me, be prepared for a wild ride. It’s tough, it’s competitive, and it might take a while. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Just remember to stay persistent, and who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky. As for me, I’m off to grind some more. Wish me luck!
