Okay, so I’ve been wanting to do something fun and different for my backyard, and I finally decided to combine two things I love: Adirondack chairs and birds! I got this idea to make an Adirondack chair bird feeder, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride but I think it turned out pretty cool.

Building the Chair

After everything was assembled, I gave the chair a quick sanding to smooth out any rough edges. I also added a little bit of paint to make it more colorful and attractive to the birds. I went with a bright blue color, because why not? It’s a bird feeder, it should be fun!
Finally, I filled the mason jar with birdseed, hung the whole thing up in my backyard, and waited. It took a little while, but eventually, some birds started to show up. They seemed to really like the little Adirondack chair bird feeder! It was so satisfying to see them enjoying something I made with my own two hands.
