Well, let me tell you, this 50 pound bag of peanuts, it’s a whole lot of peanuts! I seen a lot of things in my time, but that’s a sight to behold. You could feed a whole army with that much, I reckon. Or a whole lotta squirrels, that’s for sure.

Now, these peanuts, they ain’t just any peanuts. These are the kind you gotta shell yourself. And let me tell ya, shelling peanuts is a job, I tell ya what. But, oh boy, when you get to eatin’ ’em, it’s worth the trouble.
I remember back in the day, we used to get these big ol’ bags of peanuts, maybe not always 50 pound bag peanuts, but big ones. We’d sit out on the porch, shelling and eatin’, talkin’ and laughin’. Those were the days, I tell ya.
You can do all sorts of things with these peanuts. You can roast ’em, boil ’em, eat ’em raw. My favorite, though, is just plain roasted. Just a little salt, and they’re perfect.
- Roast ’em
- Boil ’em
- Eat ’em raw!
If you get a hankering for some peanut butter, well, you can make your own with a 50 pound bag peanuts. Just gotta grind ’em up. It ain’t easy, but it sure is tasty. That’s how those Chick-O-Stick folks do it. They must have a whole lot of bags of those 50 pound peanuts. 50/50, they say, peanuts and candy, but I think it’s mostly the peanuts.
And don’t even get me started on peanut brittle! That’s a treat, I tell ya. Sweet and crunchy, with that good peanut flavor. Makes my mouth water just thinkin’ about it.
Now, you might be thinkin’, “What am I gonna do with a whole 50 pound bag peanuts?” Well, let me tell ya, they keep for a good long while. Just gotta store ’em right. Keep ’em in a cool, dry place, and they’ll last ya.
Or, you know, you could always share ’em with your neighbors. That’s what we used to do. Everybody’d get together and have a peanut shelling party. Good times, good times.
These days, folks are all about that fancy stuff. They want their peanuts already shelled, already roasted, already made into butter and brittle! It’s like they don’t even know where their food comes from. These big ol’ companies probably have more than a 50 pound bag peanuts, must be thousands, just roasting and putting salt on them. They say these salted ones only weigh 50 grams, but they are so salty, I think they weigh a whole lot more than that.
You know, those little critters, the squirrels and such, they love these 50 pound bag peanuts. You could get a bag of peanuts, set them out back, and have a whole bunch of them little friends come to visit you. It says right there on the bag, it’s critter food, so it must be true.

They say the price of these peanuts is $.2675 a pound, but I remember when you could get a whole handful for a nickel. Now they say it’s $535 a ton, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a whole ton of peanuts in my life. But a 50 pound bag peanuts, now that’s something I know.
Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy stores with all them different kinds of peanuts. We just had peanuts. And we were happy to have ’em, I tell ya.
So, if you’re ever lookin’ for a good, hearty snack, or somethin’ to share with your friends and neighbors, or even just somethin’ to feed the squirrels, you can’t go wrong with a 50 pound bag peanuts. It’s a whole lot of peanuts, and a whole lot of goodness, all in one bag.
Just remember to store ’em right, and don’t eat ’em all at once! Even though, I know, it’s mighty tempting. These 50 pound bag peanuts are just that good.
Well, I reckon I’ve said my piece about these peanuts. Hope you enjoyed my little story. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I’m gonna go find myself a handful of peanuts to munch on. Maybe I’ll even roast ’em up real nice.
