You see, this thing called cheese and mouse toy, it’s a big deal for them kitties. My neighbor’s cat, Whiskers, that’s what she call it, he got one, and he just go crazy for it. He’s a good cat, but sometimes, you know, he just sit there, lookin’ bored. But this toy, it keep him busy.
This toy, it’s like a little house of cheese, all yellow and with holes and stuff. And inside, there’s these little mice, not real ones, mind you, but they pop out, like peek-a-boo! Whiskers, he love to chase them, trying to catch ’em. Keeps him on his toes, that’s for sure. It’s an automatic cat toy. I think that’s what she call it.
These cats, they’re hunters, you see. Even if they live inside, all comfy, they still got that in ’em. They like to chase and pounce, just like they would in the wild, catchin’ birds and mice and such. This toy, it let’s ’em do that, without all the mess, you know. No feathers to clean up, no dead mice.
Now, some of these toys, they got this stuff called catnip. It smells like some weed, but the cats, they love it. Makes ’em all playful and silly. I saw this one toy, it’s a little mouse, all full of catnip, and that old cat was rollin’ around with it like a kitten. It was somethin’ to see, I tell ya.
But you gotta be careful with these toys, some of them, they’re not made so good. They can make the cat sick. You see, them little mice got these eyes and noses and tails, and sometimes the cats, they bite ’em off and swallow ’em. That ain’t good. And some got little bells inside, and those can come out, too. Gotta make sure they are safe cat toys.
So, when you get one of these cheese and mouse toys, you gotta make sure it’s a good one. One that won’t fall apart and make your kitty sick. It’s a good way to help your cat not be bored.
- Make sure it’s sturdy.
- Make sure no little pieces can come off.
- Make sure it’s got them mice that pop in and out.
Cats, they like things that move, things they can chase. They like those little balls, too, the ones that roll around. And boxes, they love boxes! Just a plain old cardboard box, and they’ll be in it all day, hidin’ and peekin’ out. This cheese toy has a ball, too. It’s a good cat toy, I think.
This cheese toy, it’s like a game for ’em. They see the mouse, they try to catch it. The mouse goes back in, they wait for it to come out again. It’s like they’re huntin’, but it’s all in good fun. And it keeps ’em busy, which is good for ’em, and good for you, too. Don’t want them gettin’ into trouble, you know.
This one lady, she got a whole bunch of cats, and she got one of these cheese toys for ’em. She said it was the best thing she ever did. All them cats, playin’ together, chasin’ them little mice. They love it so much. Keeps ’em out of her hair, she said. And they’re happy, so she’s happy.
So, if you got a cat, and you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ him somethin’, this cheese and mouse toy, it’s a good thing to consider. Just make sure it’s a good one, and your kitty will be happy as a clam. And you will be, too. These toys are good for them to play.
You know, they have different kinds, too. This one, it’s called “Cheese Chase,” I think. It’s got different things for the cats to do. It’s good for many cats. They can all play at the same time. That’s a good thing. This is a good cat toy. A good cheese toy for cats.
Cats are funny that way. They can be happy with the simplest things. A piece of string, a crumpled-up piece of paper, a box. But these toys, these cheese and mouse toys, they’re somethin’ special. They really get ’em goin’. It’s like they’re back in the wild, huntin’ for their supper, even though they got a bowl full of food right there. It’s just in their nature, I guess.
So many cat toys, you know. But this one is good. This cheese toy.
