This here salmon coat, you see, ain’t just any old coat. It’s the color of that fish, you know, the one they call salmon. A pretty, peachy kind of color, not too bright, not too dull. Good for all kinds of weather, I reckon.

Salmon, Good for You
Now, they say that salmon fish is good for you. Lots of good stuff in it, they say. Keeps you healthy and all that. I don’t know ’bout all that fancy talk, but I do know it tastes mighty fine. We used to catch ’em in the river back home. Big, strong fish they were. Took two men to haul ’em in sometimes.
This Coat, It’s a Keeper
This coat, though, it ain’t made of fish, no sir. It’s just the color, see? But it’s a good, strong coat. Keeps you warm when it’s cold, and it ain’t too heavy when it’s a little warmer. I like a coat that can do both.
- Keeps you warm
- Not too heavy
- Pretty color
- Good for all weather
You can wear it to town, or you can wear it to church. Heck, you can even wear it out to the fields if you want. It’s that kind of coat. Tough, you know? Won’t tear easy. I’ve had mine for years, and it still looks good as new. Well, almost new, anyway.
Buying That Salmon
Now, if you want to buy some of that salmon fish, you gotta be careful. Make sure it’s good and fresh. Don’t want no old, smelly fish. You can tell if it’s fresh by lookin’ at it. It should be, you know, moist, not all dried out. And it shouldn’t have no brown spots or nothin’.
Some folks, they get their groceries delivered these days. Don’t even have to go to the store. They just, you know, order it on their phones or somethin’. I don’t know about all that, but I guess it’s easier for some folks. You can even get that salmon delivered, they say. Just add it to your cart, whatever that means.
Cooking That Fish
When you cook that salmon, you gotta make sure it’s done. Don’t want to eat it raw. You can tell it’s done when it’s, you know, flaky. Comes apart real easy. And it shouldn’t be all pink and see-through. If it is, it ain’t done yet. You can get sick from eating fish that ain’t cooked right. Be careful with that.
This coat, though, you don’t gotta cook it! Just wear it and be happy. It’s a good color, this salmon. Makes you feel good just lookin’ at it. And it’s a good, strong color. Won’t fade easy, like some of them other colors.
Salmon Coat, Good for Everyone
I’ve seen all kinds of folks wearin’ these salmon coats. Young folks, old folks, everyone in between. It’s a good color for everyone, I reckon. And like I said, it’s a good, strong coat. Will last you a long time. I’ve had mine for years, and it’s still goin’ strong.
Taking Care of Your Coat
If you get yourself one of these here salmon coats, you gotta take care of it. Don’t just throw it on the floor or leave it out in the rain. Hang it up when you’re not wearin’ it. And if it gets dirty, you gotta clean it. But don’t just throw it in the washin’ machine. You gotta be careful with it. Read the tag, see what it says. Might have to take it to one of them dry cleaners.
This color, though, it hides dirt pretty good. You can get away with not cleanin’ it for a while. But don’t let it get too bad, you hear? Take care of your things, and they’ll last you a long time. That’s what my mama always used to say.
