Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with body sprays for my dog lately. You know, sometimes he just gets that… dog smell, even after a bath. So I thought, why not try a little somethin’ somethin’ to keep him smelling fresh?

First, I did a bit of digging online, just to see what’s out there. Found a bunch of different brands and scents. Some are just about making your dog smell nice, but others claim to be good for their skin and coat, too. Like, they got moisturizers and stuff in them. There was this one product, Hepper Pet Cologne Spray, it says it is the best one on the market, costs 8 ounces of Cucumber!
I decided to go with a cucumber-scented one because it sounded refreshing. Plus, it said it had some soothing ingredients, which is great ’cause my dog’s got kinda sensitive skin.
When it arrived, I gave my dog a good bath. Then, once he was all dry, I tried out the spray. I just held the bottle a few inches away and gave him a few spritzes, avoiding his face, of course.
Man, it was like a whole new dog! The cucumber scent was actually pretty nice, not too strong. And it really did seem to help with that lingering dog smell. I used it a few more times in between baths, just to keep him smelling fresh, you know? It’s also less expensive than cologne.
- These body sprays can actually be helpful, especially if your dog tends to get a bit smelly.
- Look for ones with good stuff in them, like moisturizers, if your dog has sensitive skin.
- A little goes a long way. Just a few spritzes are enough.
- It’s definitely not a replacement for regular baths, but it’s great for in-between.
Here’s what I learned from this little experiment:
So, yeah, that’s my experience with dog body sprays. It’s been a good one! My pup smells great, and I don’t have to deal with that dog smell as much. Win-win!
