Alright, let’s talk about this dog harness thing, you know, the one for them Ohio State doggies. I ain’t no fancy college person, but I know a thing or two about dogs and harnesses, ya hear?

First off, what’s all this fuss about “Ohio State University dog harness” anyway? Sounds like a mouthful to me. It’s just a harness for your dog, right? But I guess if you’re one of them Buckeye fans, you gotta have everything with that Ohio State stuff on it. Even your dog, huh? Lord have mercy.
Now, I seen some of these harnesses. Some are just plain ol’ harnesses with maybe a little Ohio State logo on ’em. Nothin’ special, just holds your dog so it don’t run off chasin’ squirrels. Then there’s them fancy ones, like the ones they call “Buckeyes Dog Tossed Block O Printed Sidekick Harness Vest“. Sounds like a whole lotta words for somethin’ you put on a dog, don’t it? But I guess it looks nice, with all them Os and such. Makes your dog look like a real fancy Buckeye dog, I reckon.
And what about them “Ohio State University Buckeyes Dog Step-In Harness“? Step-in, huh? Well, I guess that’s easier than tryin’ to wrangle a dog into one of them over-the-head harnesses. My old dog, bless his heart, he used to fight me tooth and nail when I tried to put a harness on him. These step-in ones, they might be alright for them dogs that don’t like things goin’ over their heads.
Then there’s the “Double stitched grosgrain ribbon” they talk about. Sounds fancy, but I bet it just means it’s sewed up good so it don’t fall apart. That’s important, ya know. You don’t want that harness breakin’ when you’re walkin’ your dog. Especially if your dog is a big fella, like my neighbor’s dog, Brutus. He’s a big ol’ thing, that Brutus, and he pulls like a tractor. You need a good, strong harness for a dog like that.
- Good and strong: Gotta make sure the harness don’t break.
- Easy to put on: Them step-in ones sound good for dogs that don’t like things over their heads.
- Looks nice: Well, if you’re into that Ohio State stuff, I guess.
They even got them Ohio State Buckeyes Adjustable Collar for Dogs and Cats. Cats, huh? I never seen a cat wear a harness, but I guess some folks do it. My cats, they just roam around the farm, doin’ as they please. They wouldn’t be caught dead in a harness. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
And what’s this talk about “Officially Licensed“? Sounds like they’re makin’ a big deal out of nothin’. It’s just a dog harness, right? But I guess it means it’s the real deal, not some cheap knock-off. If you’re gonna spend your money on an Ohio State harness, I guess you want it to be the real McCoy. And they even got ones that say “Fits all Pets“. Now how they gonna make one harness fit a tiny chihuahua and a great big Great Dane? I tell ya, these city folks are somethin’ else.
Some of them harnesses got that “Ohio State Helmet Paw Print Dog Harness” design. Sounds cute, I guess. If you like paw prints and helmets, that is. And they got them “NCAA Licensed | OSU reversible dog harnesses matching leashes“. Reversible, huh? So you can flip it inside out and have a different look? Well, ain’t that somethin’. Two harnesses for the price of one, I reckon. And matchin’ leashes too? My, my. Them city folks sure do like to accessorize their dogs.
And where do you find all these fancy harnesses? Well, they say “Read customer reviews find best sellers. Free delivery on eligible orders“. So I guess you can go online and look at what other folks are sayin’ about ’em. And if you’re lucky, you can get free shippin’ too. That’s always a good thing, save a few pennies here and there. At the end of the day, it’s all about findin’ a harness that fits your dog and keeps ’em safe. Whether it’s got Ohio State stuff on it or not, that’s up to you.
