Okay, here is my blog post about my experience with engraving a dog tag keychain:

So I saw this ad online the other day, it said something about personalized keychains and they were on sale. I thought, “Hey, that sounds kinda cool.” You know how it is, you see something shiny and you just gotta check it out.
I ended up on this website, Godchoices, I think it was called, and they had all sorts of custom stuff. I spotted these dog tag keychains that you could engrave with a picture and a name, and I immediately thought of my little buddy, Max.
Getting Started
- First, I picked out a good picture of Max. It was tough, I have like a million photos of that little guy. I finally settled on one where he’s got his tongue out and he’s looking all goofy.
- Next, I typed in his name. “Max,” obviously. I almost put in a nickname, but I figured his full name would look better.
I double-checked everything, the picture, the spelling of his name, all that jazz. Then I hit the order button. It was pretty cheap, actually. I think they were having a sale or something.
The Wait
Waiting for it to arrive was the hardest part. I kept checking the mail every day, like a little kid waiting for Christmas. It probably only took a week or so, but it felt like forever.
It’s Here!
Finally, the day came! I ripped open the package and there it was, the keychain. And you know what? It looked awesome! The picture of Max was clear as day, and his name was engraved perfectly underneath.
I immediately put it on my keys. Now I have a little piece of Max with me wherever I go. It’s such a simple thing, but it makes me smile every time I see it. It turned out way better than I expected, to be honest. I’m really happy with it. Might even order another one for my other dog, Bella. She might get jealous, you know?
