Okay, so I’ve been thinking about switching my dog to a raw food diet for a while now. I did some digging online, and it seems like it’s supposed to be a more natural way of feeding them, kinda like what they’d eat in the wild. I came across this brand called RAWR, and it got me curious.

What I Did
- Looked up what raw dog food actually is: Turns out, it’s all about uncooked stuff – muscle meat, organs, bones, even some fruits and veggies. The idea is to mimic a dog’s ancestral diet.
- Checked out RAWR’s deal: They talk a lot about balancing the nutrients with the right amount of organs and offals. Sounds legit, right? I mean, dogs are meant to eat that stuff.
- Dug into the benefits: People online swear by raw food. They say it leads to cleaner teeth, healthier skin, shinier coats, and even smaller, less smelly poops. Who wouldn’t want that?
- Considered if it’s right for my pup: Since I have a puppy, I needed to check if raw is okay for them, too. I read some articles and forum posts about that, and most of them said it is right for them.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I was a bit nervous about making such a big change to my dog’s diet. But the more I read, the more it made sense. Plus, I saw some people talking about how much their dogs loved RAWR, and how much healthier they seemed.
I decided to take the plunge. I ordered a small batch of RAWR to start, just to see how my dog would react. When it arrived, I followed the instructions they provided to thaw it out. I started by mixing a little bit of the raw food with his old kibble, gradually increasing the amount of raw and decreasing the kibble over a week.
The Results
My dog went crazy for it! He loved it. Over the next few weeks, I kept a close eye on him. I noticed his poops did get smaller and less smelly, his coat looked glossier, and he just seemed to have more energy overall.
So, yeah, I’m pretty happy with my decision to switch to RAWR. It took a bit of research and a leap of faith, but seeing how much my dog enjoys it and how much better he seems to be doing, I’d say it was totally worth it. I am not a vet though, so it’s always a good idea to check with yours before making any big diet changes for your furry friend. I just wanted to share my experience with RAWR dog food, I know it helped me feel better when I was first starting out, just reading about other people’s experiences.
