Okay, so last week I decided to get my dog a new toy. He’s been tearing up everything lately, so I figured it’s time to give him something he’s actually allowed to destroy. I went online, did some quick browsing, and found this moose dog toy with a squeaker. It looked pretty durable in the pictures, and my dog loves anything that squeaks, so I thought, “Why not?”

I ordered it, and it arrived a couple of days later. The toy was a decent size, shaped like a moose, and it had this fuzzy, soft texture. My dog, he immediately went nuts for it. He grabbed it, started shaking it around, and the squeaker was going off like crazy. I’ve got to say, it was pretty entertaining to watch.
The Test
Of course, the real test was how long it would last. My dog is a heavy chewer, and most toys don’t stand a chance. He spent hours chewing and playing with this moose. I was really paying attention, seeing if he’d manage to rip it apart within the first day.
Surprisingly, the moose toy held up pretty well. He chewed on it, tossed it around, played tug-of-war with me – the works. The squeaker kept on squeaking, which kept him engaged. I noticed that the material was some kind of tough rubber or silicone, which explained why it wasn’t falling apart instantly.
The Result
- Day 1: Moose toy is still intact, much to my surprise. Squeaker is still working.
- Day 2: Still going strong. My dog is obsessed. He carries it everywhere.
- Day 3: A small tear appears near one of the antlers, but nothing major.
- Day 4: He finally manages to rip off an antler. But, the body of the moose and the squeaker are still good.
- Day 5: The moose is now antler-less, but my dog doesn’t seem to care. He’s still playing with it like it’s brand new.
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed with this toy. It’s not completely indestructible, but it definitely lasted longer than most toys I’ve bought him. Plus, he genuinely seems to love it, especially the squeaker. The sound is apparently irresistible to him, kind of like it triggers his inner hunter or something. It’s a win-win in my book. I got to save my furniture, and he got a new favorite toy.
