You see, that dog scooby snacks, ain’t real dog food, you hear? Them things, they for people, not for dogs. Just like them crackers we eat, but look like dog bones. Silly, ain’t it?
My neighbor, she gave one to her dog, poor thing. Dog got a tummy ache. Why? ‘Cause them scooby snacks for dogs got sugar, lots of sugar. Like when we eat too much candy, you know? Bad for the teeth, bad for the belly. Makes you fat, too.
Dogs, they need real food, good food. Like meat, some veggies, you know. Not that sugary stuff. That’s what the smart folks, the ones who know ’bout animals, that’s what they say.
So, if you wanna give your dog a treat, give ’em somethin’ good, somethin’ healthy. Not them scooby doo dog treats. Here, I write down some good stuff for ya:
- Carrots, them orange things. Crunchy and good.
- Pumpkin, yeah, the big orange ball. Cook it up, good for their tummy.
- Apples, but no seeds! Seeds bad.
- Green beans, good for them, just like us.
See? Plenty of good stuff for dogs, no need for them fake dog scooby snacks. And them real dog treats, you gotta be careful too. Too many, and your dog, he gonna get fat. Just like us, too many cookies, we get big, right? So only give a little, just a taste.
Them scooby snacks ingredients, they put all sorts of things in there. Sugar, like I said. And other stuff, stuff we can’t even say the name of. Not good for doggies. They don’t need that. And, like what them food people, the EWG, say about that sugar, “29% sugar”! That’s a lot! They say added sugars like that corn syrup stuff and honey and all are bad ’cause they make you fat but don’t give you nothin’ good like, um, like that ‘potassium’ stuff.
Them smart folks, they know. They say too much sugar, dog gets sick. Just like us. So listen to them, they know what they talkin’ ’bout.
You love your dog, right? So feed ’em right. Good food, not that junk. And if you see them scooby doo dog snacks, just walk on by. They ain’t for dogs, no matter what they say.
Just remember, a healthy dog is a happy dog. And a happy dog makes a happy home. So give your dog good food, play with ’em, love ’em. That’s all they need. Not them scooby snacks for dogs, no sir.
Now, my old bones are tired. Gonna go sit on the porch and watch the world go by. You take care now, and remember what I said about them snacks. Don’t be fooled by the picture on the box. They for people, not for our furry friends.
And them dog treats that are okay, they say they got vitamins, and no cocoa. Cocoa bad for dogs, real bad. So if you gettin’ dog treats, make sure they are the good kind, the kind made for dogs, not people. Even then, only a little, okay? Don’t want a fat dog, no sir. Just like me, gotta watch what I eat, or I’ll be round as a pumpkin!
My neighbor’s dog, he learned his lesson. No more scooby snacks for him. Now he eats good, healthy food. And he’s runnin’ around, happy as a clam. That’s what we want, right? Happy dogs. So be smart, be kind, and feed your dog right. That’s all there is to it. And that’s what them smart folks say, the ones who write them articles about dog food. They say the same thing, just in fancier words.
I seen folks, they get confused. They see them snacks, they think, “Oh, dog treat.” But no, they just trickin’ ya. It’s like them folks who try to sell ya stuff you don’t need. They make it look all pretty, but it ain’t good for ya. Same with them snacks, they look like dog treats, but they ain’t. You gotta read the words, see what’s in ’em. Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures.
